Parking Lot Strip Repainting

Dianne Masse is leading this project with Kim Slack and Julie Merritt.   This is a job looks easy however, because of the rough terrain and faded lines, it proved to be quite challenging.  Each area has to be swept, power washed and taped before any paint can go down.   The weather forecast determines when paint can begin. The baking sun proves to be challenging as well as Dianne escapes heat exhaustion with her camel back filled with ice water, fluorescent floppy hat, and shirt.  The Yellow Safety lines will have to be redone and more added for additional safety.  Black paint will be used to erase all unwanted markings to reduce confusion on where to drive and park.  Speed-bumps will receive a coating of glass beads to be seen at night - Some Speed Bumps will be resurfaced.  A new Handicap stencil will bring Marvin into the new age of safety.

Grounds

Ed Leathers and Ken Calloway are keeping the grounds and cemetery free of weeds and high grass.   The Cemetery requires hours of care and honoring those who died in previous wars.  We several unmarked graves near the front gate.

Ed. needs help, are you up for the challenge and love required to maintain a beautiful church?

Kitchen Repair

Jake and Linda Jacob are leading the rewiring of the Kitchen Prep table enhancements.  Jake ran new wiring to the table so that it may be used with max efficiency.   Together they are improving the safety of the kitchen for all groups to use safely.

A new Can Opener with a blue knob has been installed.  It is sturdier and safer than the previous one.
