Marvin United Methodist Church: A Community of Faith and Service
Marvin United Methodist Church is a church rooted in the community, welcoming neighbors and visitors from near and far. Located at the corner of Belair and Wheeler Roads, our campus includes our sanctuary, Family Life Center, Prayer Garden, and historic cemetery—spaces dedicated to worship, fellowship, reflection, and service.
For more than 133 years, Marvin has shared the love of Christ through faithful worship, Christian mission, and service to our community and the world. We are lovingly known as “The Pumpkin Church” because of our annual October pumpkin display and sale, and as “The Rock” because of our historic gray granite exterior. Most importantly, we are a community of servant leaders committed to living out our faith through action.
Our Family Life Center serves as a gathering place for church ministries and community activities, providing space for local partnerships, including youth basketball, volleyball, soccer teams, and other community organizations.
At Marvin, we worship passionately, grow intentionally in faith, serve compassionately through mission and outreach, and give generously to support those in need. We invite you to become part of our church family as we continue to share God’s love with our community and beyond.
