Outreach and Missions
The Outreach and Missions Ministry exists to share the love of Jesus Christ by serving our community and supporting the Great Commission both locally and around the world. We are committed to demonstrating God's love through compassionate service, evangelism, discipleship, and practical acts of kindness that meet spiritual and physical needs. Through partnerships, mission opportunities, and community outreach, we seek to bring hope, build relationships, and make a lasting impact for God's kingdom. As representatives of Christ and our church, we serve with humility, compassion, integrity, and a heart for all people, faithfully sharing the message of the Gospel through both our words and our actions.
Columbia County Cares: Regional Mission. This ministry was born at Marvin. Marvin is now one of sixteen churches in the area that minister to and provide food for needy people. MUMC contribution is grits on 1st Sunday.
Cancer Support Services (December), Regional Mission. Remember loved ones who have experienced cancer by donating. We light up the corner during in December at sunset with luminaries and call the names of those being remembered. All may donate to The Lydia Project through Marvin.
