Who we are at Marvin Church

                            Picture
Marvin United Methodist Church is the community's church. Anchored on the corner of Belair and Wheeler roads, the campus includes the sanctuary. Family Life Center, Prayer Garden, and cemetery.

The congregation's 119-year history of Christian missions and service extends to the community and the world. The church is lovingly referred to as The Pumpkin Church (for its October display and sale of pumpkins) and The Rock (with its historic gray granite exterior). Most of all, we are a community of Servant Leaders.

The Family LIfe Center not only accommodates church activities but also community agencies: the Augusta Tech GED program; the Center for Care and Counseling serving the community; a preschool program for children 2-4 years old; and children and youth basketball teams from neighboring schools and community organizations.

We at Marvin worship passionately, develope our faith intentionally, risk extending ourselves in mission and service, and give generously.
